After graduating from Yamano Beauty Technical School, MIWA worked as a hair stylist at Ame, a well known hair salon in Daikanyama, Tokyo for 7 years. In 2004 he opened his first hair salon, Bangs, in Beijing, China. In addition to running Bangs as a hair stylist and owner, he was also a successful hair and make-up artist for celebrities and advertisements.
In 2008 he moved to Tokyo and joined hair salon Hanjee in Nakameguro where he worked as an assistant for hair and make-up artist. After he gained independent status, he started working as hair and make-up artist for celebrities at magazines and catalog shoots and fashion show such as "Tokyo collection".
In 2012 MIWA moved to New York and opened DRESS hair salon by MIWA in Nolita. In 2015 he opened DRESS NYC 81 in Ginza,Tokyo. In 2017 he opened D/Apartment in Ginza, Tokyo with Hideki Hozumi.
Emiko Watanabe-Baranello was born and raised in Fukui, Japan where she was trained in the art of Precision hair-cutting and styling. In 2000 she moved to New York City in order to further advance her styling career, finding home in the East Village. Emiko has held her foundation in Japanese precision while absorbing New York City's energy and style in to her technique. Through this method Emiko is able to approach each of her client’s desires in a manner that reflects both their unique style and personality. Emiko continues to reside in the East village and remains alert to new style inspirations. Emiko's work and praise has been featured in Vouge .
Ken(Kentaroh)is a hair stylist who was trained in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career 14 years ago. In 2011 he decided to move to New York to follow his dream of working amongst New York Cities elite hairdressers.
He is responsible, talented and passionate hair stylist.

Born and raised in Japan Ritsu began her career as a stylist at Acqua (a top hair salon in Tokyo). At Acqua she styled and cut hair for 9 years before moving on to other elite salons in Tokyo. She then began working freelance as a hair artist for another 2 years styling models, actors, and actresses before relocating to NYC where she joined Dress Hair Salon. In NYC she continues her freelance work styling hair for magazines and for models of major brands on Lookbook. Ritsu is also a talented multimedia artist and her hand embroidery designs have been featured in Velour magazine (a premiere drag magazine). Ritsu specializes in textured haircuts, balayage coloring and permanent wave.
Kaori began her early hair stylist career back in Japan, she inspired by art and beauty. She fell in love with hair industry.
With ten years of experience, she moved to New York in 2007 to further her expertise in the hair and fashion industry. Since 2011, Kaori has been working for the New York Fashion Week every season.
She adopts these skills and inspirations into her hair styling techniques at the salon.
Kaori is known and valued for her long lasting and easy to style haircuts. Her technique is very versatile and leans toward soft, natural, edgy and casual styling. She loves to work with all hair types, but she specialize in working with customers who have wavy and thick hair.
